New Player Guide

Hi there! Welcome to TerraWorld Online!

If you're here, the chances are you need a little help getting started. Sometimes starting a new game can be confuzzling, or maybe you just missed something you didn't know you were supposed to be looking for.

But hey, let's stay on the safe side and start at the beginning.

The Controls and Getting Around

A very important step to being able to play a game is... knowing how.

Movement: use the arrow keys to move around Terra. In accordance with common sense, Up = move toward the top of the screen. Down = move toward the bottom of the screen. Left = move to the left. Right = move to the right.

Attacking: TAB

Using an equipped tool(fishing pole, mining hammer, etc.): TAB

Picking up items: Make sure your character is next to the item, and click on it. OR Make sure your character is facing the item and press ALT

Exploring: If you want to leave the screen you are on, just walk to the edge... and keep walking! You will first see a black flash, then be on the next map.

Doors: Just walk into a door to go through it.

Non-Player Characters: Commonly called NPCs, these are the shop attendants, quest characters, healers and other interesting folk you may meet on your travels. To interact with an NPC, just click on them! (Sometimes this will reveal a quest, or allow you to buy/sell items)

Trading: To trade items with another player, click on them and select "Trade". A blue window will open up when they agree to trade with you.

-Choose the item you want to trade.

-In the top right hand corner put how many of the item you want to trade.

-Now click [set].

-Do this for as many items as you want to trade

-Click [send list]

-When the other player's list shows what you want to trade for, click [Accept Trade]
